President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with a 10-man delegation from the Senate to discuss an alleged plot by the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to implicate the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, in a criminal case.
Saga Gist recalls that Saraki had raised the alarm on the floor of the Senate over a purported plot by the IGP to implicate him using ‘coerced’ cultists.
The meeting between Buhari and the Senate delegation is taking place behind closed doors at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
