Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah has revealed his role model in football.

The 25-year-old said he loved watching the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Francesco Totti play football when he was young.

“I will tell you about the ones I loved when I was young and saw as outstanding stars,” Salah told Egyptian TV station ONE.

“[Zinedine] Zidane, Ronaldo and [Francesco] Totti are the ones I loved the most when I was young. I loved watching them so much.

“I am lucky and so happy that I played with Totti [at Roma]. We have very good relationship together and are still friends until now.

“I didn’t see [Diego] Maradona and Pele play.”

Meanwhile, Salah was crowned the Reds’ Player of the Season at a glittering awards ceremony on Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old also picked up both the First Team Players’ Player of the Season and the Standard Chartered Player of the Season award.

The forward has already scored 43 goals in all competitions for the Reds this season.

The former Roma star is a potential contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or and he’s also competing with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi for the European Golden Shoe.

Salah has sent warning to Real Madrid ahead of the Champions League final slated for May 26 in Kiev.
