Amosun Appoints Lemboye, 2018 Amir-Ui-Hajj


The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has approved the appointment of the Zonal Legal Adviser (South-West) and immediate past Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State, Alh. Tajudeen Lemboye, as the Amir-ui-Hajj, to this year’s holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa who announced the appointment in a press statement said, the new Amir-ui-Hajj who holds a number of traditional and religious chieftaincy titles, including; the Ekerin of Igbore Muslims and Gamji Musulumi of Sabo community in Abeokuta, is expected to lead the State’s delegation to perform the Hajj exercise.

Adeoluwa added that the Governor wished the Amir-ui-Hajj and other pilgrims a worthwhile and rewarding pilgrimage to the Holy land, enjoining them to be good ambassadors of the State and abide by the laws of their host country while the exercise lasts.
