Chelsea defender, David Luiz has lauded Huddersfield Town ahead of their English Premier League opener on Saturday evening at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The Brazilian international disclosed that he is expecting a tough test against the Terriers having been impressed by their efforts in the English top flight during the last season.
Luiz hopes to feature against Huddersfield, having started the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield last weekend.
“It will be a typical Premier League game,” Luiz told Chelsea’s official website.
“It’s always difficult to start away from home against a very good team who have a very good coach. Last season I saw him [David Wagner] face to face and told him his team were great.
“It wasn’t easy for them to fight until the end but they have great players so it’s going to be a tough game. It’s always important to start well, it’s going to be tough but we are ready.”
