Princess Modupe Ozien Ozolua is an Entrepreneur and the Founder, President, and Executive Director at Empower 54. She was born on October 10th, 1973 in Benin City, Oredo local government area of Edo State, Nigeria.
Princess was born to Chief J.I and Chief Mrs M.S Ozolua, who are indigenes of Sabongida Ora in Owan West local goveernment area of Edo State.
She attended the University of Benin Primary and Secondary School. She had part of her secondary education at Queen Idia Girls College in Benin City and the rest at Apata Memorial High School, Isolo, Lagos. She left for the United States of America in 1989 where she studied at the South Western College, San Diego, and Devery International University, Los Angeles, California (1989–1995) majoring in Graphic Design & Business Administration.
Modupe Ozolua is the Chief Executive Officer of Body Enhancement limited in Nigeria. She is also the founder and president of Body Enhancement Annual Reconstructive Surgery (BEARS) Foundation.
Ozolua has a son - Prince Oluwaseun Ozolua-Osunbade, from a previous relationship. She lives in the US and regularly visits Nigeria.
Ozolua has helped people “achieve an admirable weight, attain the best standard of beauty and be fashionable without regard to age”.
She founded Empower 54 Project Inc. in 2003 in Massachusetts. Empower 54 is a non-profit organization providing humanitarian assistance through health, Hunger Eradication/Rural Development, educational, empowerment, and IDP/refugee programs to the underprivileged.
Ozolua organised a nationwide surgery project in Kwara State, Nigeria in October/November 2005. The Kwara state government hosted the beneficiaries and took care of their accommodation, also providing medical facilities. Surgeons, gynecologists, and ophthalmologists attended the conference from all over Africa and the Americas. They worked for ten days and treated one hundred and ten patients.
Some of the surgeons, who participated, were volunteered by the National Orthopedic Hospital. Three young surgeons specialised in cyst removal, VVF repairs and fibroid removal.
