What Jonathan did after closed-door meeting with Buhari on Thursday


Former President Goodluck Jonathan refused to speak with journalists after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.
Saga Gist reports that Buhari met behind closed doors with the immediate past president earlier on Thursday..
The immediate past President had arrived at the forecourt of the State House around 2.58 pm on Thursday.
The meeting, which started at the President’s office around 3 pm, lasted for about 8 minutes.
Jonathan, however, shunned who demanded to know the purpose of his visit when he emerged from the President’s office.
The Bayelsa-born politician went straight to his waiting car after exchanging pleasantries with a presidential staff at the forecourt of the State House.
This was the first time Jonathan would visit the Presidential Villa under the second term administration of President Buhari.
He visited twice during Buhari’s first term in office.
