Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Dimitar Berbatov, has predicted the scorelines of some of this weekend’s English Premier League (EPL) fixtures.
Arsenal will host Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Norwich City will tackle Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday, while Chelsea will host Manchester United at the Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa will face Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur at home.
Providing his prediction, Berbatov was quoted by Metro UK as saying: “Norwich are rock bottom, and I have a feeling that if anybody is going to beat Liverpool this season it will be an underdog. City went to Carrow Road and were beaten 3-2, they have proven that they can beat a top side there so I don’t see why they can’t up their game to take on Klopp’s team, Norwich 3, Liverpool 2.”
Aston Villa vs Tottenham: “Aston Villa are just one point above the relegation zone so they are fighting for their lives, and they will bring that fight into the game. Spurs have a good couple of results recently but I can see Villa being a handful, Villa 2, Spurs 2.”
Arsenal vs Newcastle: “Arsenal have drawn their last four games and they need to turn them into wins. Both teams are level on points, but I think it will be a long trip for Newcastle and Arteta will be desperate for a win in front of a home crowd, and it is time for a win, Arsenal 3, Newcastle 0.”
Chelsea vs Man United: “This is a massive game in the race for top four. If United want to be seriously challenging for a top four spot, then need to get something on Monday. I honestly think that both teams are pretty even at the moment and both need to do better and become more consistent, Chelsea 1, Man Utd 1.”
