Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has forwarded the Ogun State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps Bill 2020, to the Ogun State House of Assembly.
Saga Gist reported that the State Executive Council on Tuesday approved the draft copy of the bill during its meeting.
The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, confirmed the receipt of the bill from Gov Abiodun during plenary on Thursday.
Abiodun had pleaded with the assembly to give the bill the attention it deserves by passing same speedily.
While reading a correspondence from the governor, Oluomo pledged that the bill would be given speedy passage by the assembly.
