The All Progressives Congress (APC) has spoken on President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration that the party could have used the military for the 2019 general elections.
APC said the comment was a pointer that under the current administration, the days of stolen and procured electoral mandates are fast fading.
Yekini Nabena, the spokesman, reacted in a statement on Tuesday.
Nabena said the Judiciary, INEC, security services “have been the beneficiaries of the President’s impartiality and non-interference.”
He called for support for independence of state institutions to deepen democracy and improve the electioneering system.
