Alex Telles speaks on joining Man Utd

FC Porto left-back, Alex Telles, has insisted he is not distracted by the prospect of joining Manchester United before this summer’s transfer window closes next month.
Man United have held talks with the 27-year-old’s representative but have not yet submitted a formal bid to Porto.
Porto are reportedly willing to accept a €20 million offer for Telles, whose current contract will expire at the end of the season.
Man United, meanwhile, are under increased pressure to strengthen their squad following their 3-1 lost to Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Premier League.
But Telles is adamant that he is only concentrating on performing for Porto.
“I am a guy who focuses a lot on work, people believe what they want, say what they want in the newspapers, but the most important thing is to be focused on my work,” Telles told Sport TV when asked about his future amid interest from Man United following Porto’s 3-1 victory over Braga on Saturday evening.
“You know that and so do my teammates, whatever happens, I am focused on the club, I am here, I am playing.”
“I have people who work for me. I just have to focus on what my job is.
“If I knew anything, I would not need to have people working for me. I’ve people who take care of that, and I’ve to focus on my work.”
Telles netted 11 goals and registered eight assists in 31 appearances for Porto last season.
