Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the ongoing election in Edo State has suffered a loss at the polling unit of the state’s Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 401 votes while APC got 148 votes in the governorship election in the state.
Shaibu, who is the running mate of the Governor Godwin Obaseki of the PDP voted at Ward 11, polling unit 5 of Etsako West LGA.
Recall that Obaseki had also floored Ize-Iyamu in his Oredo Ward 4, Unit 19.
