Forty- eight new coronavirus infections have been reported across Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the development in a tweet on Saturday.
The health agency said the number of recoveries stood at 57,285, adding that Nigeria has recorded 1,129 fatalities.
It said Lagos State recorded the bulk of the new infections with 18 cases, while FCT followed with 13, Kaduna had 6, Ogun had 5 and Ondo had 1.
So far, Nigeria has a total of 61,930 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
