Seven persons have been confirmed dead with two others seriously injured in a road crash that occurred at Mundubawa junction on Hadejia road in Kano State.
Malam Saidu Muhammed, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state fire service confirmed the incident in a statement made available to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday, NAN reports.
According to Muhammed, the accident occurred at about 5:27 a.m. on Wednesday.
Muhammad said a trailer with registration number, XC954GWL, and a truck without a registration number collided, adding that one Musa Mu’azu, 27, and Usman Abu, 30 were the victims who survived the crash.
He said that all the other seven victims were rushed to Sir Sunusi General hospital, where they were confirmed dead by doctors on duty.
