Few days after ordering the arrest of Rochas Okorocha and admitting ordering military action in Orlu, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma on Tuesday met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting may not be unconnected with recent security issues in Imo State.
Buhari’s aide on Media, Buhari Sallau, made this known on Twitter and shared photos.
“President @MBuhari receives Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma in State House on 23rd Feb 2021,” Sallau wrote on Twitter.
Saga Gist reported that Uzodinma had at the weekend ordered the arrest of Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The former Governor and his aides were accused of breaking the seal placed by authorities on Spring Palm Estate linked to his wife, Nkechi.
Okorocha’s aides were said to have been granted bail of N70 million.
