Real Madrid give Arsenal two conditions to make Odegaard deal permanent

Arsenal are hoping to land Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid permanently in the summer, but it depends on two factors, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners have been impressed with Odegaard since he arrived on loan in January.

Both parties are happy to make it permanent ahead of the 2021/2022 season.

However, Arsenal will have to talk to Real, and the opinion of their manager, Zinedine Zidane will be the most important factor.

If Zidane needs Odegaard for next season, then he would return to Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos would also have to lower their asking price for Odegaard.

The 22-year-old currently has a release clause of £300m, which is an unrealistic amount for any club, let alone Arsenal.
