EPL: Real Madrid take final decision on selling Odegaard to Arsenal

Real Madrid will not be selling Martin Odegaard to Arsenal this summer as the player’s future remains uncertain at the Bernabeu.

There have been several speculations about the player such as Real Madrid selling him to Arsenal or letting him go out on loan again.

Arsenal wants the 22-year-old permanently as a result of quality and Marca reports that Odegaard is now seen as one of Real Madrid’s ‘untouchables’ and will not be leaving the club.

Although the Spanish giants need to raise funds to buy Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer, they are not planning to sell Odegaard to help with that move.

This means that the player will unlikely join Arsenal this summer and Odegaard will be returning to Spain at the end of this season.
