Katsina State House of Assembly early this morning was added to the list of notable places consumed by fire in Katsina State.
Saga Gist gathered that the fire which consumed some sensitive documents and properties of the legislative unit is suspected to have started from the hallowed chambers before spreading to other parts of the Assembly arena.
However, at the time of filing this report, the fire had been brought under control by firefighters in collaboration with other security agencies.
Saga Gist reports that no lives were lost in the early morning inferno but an official statement from the assembly management is still being awaited.
