Businesswoman, guest abducted by gunmen in Ogun

 

A businesswoman identified as Roselyn Edusi has been kidnapped in Ogun State, alongside a male guest.

They were reportedly abducted on a farm at Ofada, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area on Saturday.

The duo were said to have been kidnapped on Saturday afternoon when the male guest accompanied the woman to the farm.

The Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the abduction.

According to Oyeyemi, the woman and her guest had visited the farm from Lagos State.

The police officer told newsmen that the command had begun tracking the kidnappers so as to rescue the victims from their abductors’ unhurt.

He said, “We have begun search for them. We are tracking and trailing them. We will get them.”

Oyeyemi said no ransom had been demanded by the abductors.
