Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State on Monday sacked his Commissioner for Social Housing, Hon. Chris Itafu Njah.
A statement by Ayade’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, said Njah’s dismissal was with immediate effect.
“The State Governor, His Excellency Prof Ben Ayade has approved the relieving of Hon. Chris Itafu Njah of his appointment as Commissioner for Social Housing with immediate effect.
“The governor thanks Mr Njah for his services to the state and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
Ayade has so far sacked five of his commissioners and special advisers for refusing to defect with him to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
