EPL: John Terry hails one Arsenal player after 2-0 defeat to Chelsea

Chelsea legend, John Terry has hailed Arsenal midfielder, Emile Smith Rowe after Chelsea’s 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Romelu Lukaku netted his debut goal for Chelsea, while Reece James made it 2-0 to secure the three points for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Arsenal received their second defeat in the new season with Mikel Arteta’s side delivering another disjointed display in front of their fans.

The Gunners were also booed off the pitch by their own supporters at half time and after the full-time whistle.

Many Arsenal players struggled to make an impact against Thomas Tuchel’s Blues, but Smith Rowe managed to catch Terry’s eye late in the game.

The Chelsea legend, who was watching the match, posted a clip of Rowe’s highlight on Instagram along with the caption: “Emile Smith Rowe is a player.”

Terry also hailed Lukaku after the Belgian got Tuchel’s side off to an excellent start in the game.

Terry posted a replay on Instagram with the caption: “Romelu Lukaku what a start. Watch the run after he lays it off.”
