EPL: Tuchel reveals former Chelsea players he would love to bring back

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has named two Chelsea legends that he would love to add to his current squad if it was possible.

They are goalkeeper Petr Cech and striker Didier Drogba.

Tuchel won the Champions League in his first six months at Stamford Bridge, but is already beefing up his squad ahead of the 2021/2022 campaign.

The Blues have been linked with strikers Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan and Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.

But when asked by Chelsea’s official website to name former players he would sign if presented with a time machine, Tuchel said: “I work every day with Petr Cech and he’s great to have around, so I’ll choose Petr with all of his experience.

“I watched a documentary about him and Didier Drogba recently and both of them had such fantastic winning mentalities when they were playing, so focused and dedicated and for sure, they would be an asset to any team.”
