Police arrest six murder suspects, recover AK-47 rifles, others in Delta

 

The Police anti-Kidnapping and Cybercrime Squad have arrested six suspects over their alleged connection in the murder of one Prince Eric Takerere and two mobile policemen.

They also allegedly carted away of their rifles as well as attempted to murder one Prince Franklyn Takerere.

The suspects include, Onoriode Shefo “AKA” Chikago “M” 36yrs, Omagbeosa Sholla “M”
30yrs, Godwin Obukoemu “AKA” Million “M” 30yrs, Ejime Mugagbam “M”34yrs, Ejiroghenen Nushe “M” 24yrs and Egho Monday “M” 28yrs.

They were arrested by the Police Operatives during a raid on their hideouts in Udu, Warri and Aladja Communities in Delta State.

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Mohammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

According to the Police image maker, “They all confessed to be involved in the murder of prince Eric
Takerere and his two mobile policemen.

“They also led the operatives to their armoury where two AK47 rifles, one pump action gun, one locally made pistol, four magazines, seventy six rounds of live ammunition and thirty eight rounds of live cartridges were recovered.”
