Leicester City vs Man Utd: Solskjaer provides team update

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed the latest update on his team ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday evening.

Solskjaer said that Raphael Varane is injured, while Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof are in contention to feature for Man United against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Norwegian also provided the latest update on Fred and Edinson Cavani ahead of the Leicester clash.

He said this during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

Man United head to the game following a 1-1 draw with Everton in their last game.

Solskjaer said, “Because as we see with Raphael, he’s got an injury, out for a few weeks, but then again Victor and Eric played in the internationals and got good game time so that was good for us.

“With regards to Fred and Edinson, they played a full game this morning, half 1 it kicked off, so of course we are not counting on them.

“We have got to give them the time to rest and recover, which of course you have to.

“They played well, and that was a good thing for us. They are not injured, so hopefully they can be involved again in midweek, for the Champions League [game versus Atalanta].”
