Nigeria vs Central African Republic: Ahmed Musa talks tough ahead of World Cup qualifier

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has said the team is focused on taking six points off the Central African Republic in their FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria hosts the Wild Beasts on Thursday, before flying out for the reverse fixture three days later.

The three-time African champions already has six points from their first two games.

They beat Liberia 2-0 in their first game, before defeating Cape Verde 2-1 in the second.

“We have a mission, which is to collect all the six points from the two matches and make things easier for ourselves in the last two matches against Liberia and Cape Verde.

“Then, we can focus on the knockout matches of March next year,” Musa said.

All 23 players invited by Rohr are now at the Eko Hotels & Suites camp of the team, following the arrival on Tuesday evening of goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
