EPL: Arsenal told to sign Manchester United star

Former Arsenal striker, Kevin Campbell, has told the club manager, Mikel Arteta to sign frustrated Manchester United midfielder, Donny van de Beek.

Campbell believes the Dutch International can revive his career at Arsenal and would provide invaluable versatility to the north London club.

Van de Beek has endured a miserable spell at Manchester United following his £40m move from Ajax in 2020.

The 24-year-old has scored just once for Solskjaer’s side and has started ust two games in all competitions.

The Netherlands international would seek an exit from Old Trafford in January, according to reports in Europe and Campbell has advised Arsenal to recruit the midfielder.

‘I only want what’s best for Arsenal and I believe Donny van de Beek can play, if given the opportunity,’ Campbell told The Highbury Squad.

“The boy can play. He wants out. I think this young man has super ability.

“He can play anywhere around the midfield – holding, at eight, and he can play attacking. We’ve got another one who is versatile – a plug-and-play player for us.”
