Former Manchester United winger, Park Ji-sung has tipped Wayne Rooney to become Manchester United manager.
Rooney is currently the manager at Championship side Derby County and has been dealing with extremely difficult circumstances at the club.
But despite Rooney’s struggles at the Midlands side, Park, who played alongside the former England star at Man United between 2005 and 2012, sees him as capable of taking over the Red Devils’ job in the future.
“I believe Wayne can make it. He had great experiences from a very young age and he also had many difficult moments in his career that he overcame eventually,” Park told GOAL.
“For sure, he has great leadership skills as well. So, I believe he can be United’s manager in the future.”
Park also believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, current United boss, should be given more time to turn things around.
