EPL: Garth Crooks names Arsenal most consistent player under Arteta

Former Manchester United and Tottenham player, Garth Crooks, has named Bukayo Saka as Arsenal’s most consistent player under their manager, Mikel Arteta, this season.

Crooks stated this after Arsenal defeated Leeds United 4-1 in the Premier League over the weekend.

Recall that Arsenal defeated Leeds at Elland Road following goals from Saka, Gabriel Martinelli (two) and Emile Smith Rowe.

Speaking about Saka, Crooks told BBC Sport, “Arsenal fans will know what I think of this talent.

“He’s the best thing I have seen since. I saw Arsenal’s David Rocastle burst onto the scene at Highbury.

“Saka was brilliant against West Ham and even better against Leeds and the difference between the two teams in both matches.

“He is the most consistent Arsenal player at the club and has been for the last season and a half – and the reason Arsenal finds themselves flying high.”

He added, “I can’t understand how such an ordinary team keeps getting these results. It’s unbearable.”
