2023: Get your PVCs ready – Ex-APC scribe urges Nigerian youths

Former National Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Osita Izunaso, has advised eligible youths to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ready to enable them participate in the 2023 general elections.

Senator Izunaso, who recently won the party’s primary for the Imo West senatorial seat being occupied by a presidential aspirant and former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha said PVCs is the only tool that can be use to elect credible leaders come 2023.

He gave the advice while briefing journalists shortly after hosting APC delegates and leaders from Orlu zone at his residence in Owerri, Imo State capital.

He said the era where people feel their votes don’t count is over.

He said, “People make a lot of noise with out PVC. I have a problem with the younger generation. They keep saying that their votes will not count, who told you your votes won’t count?

“A lot of things have changed about our electoral process. Your voter’s card is your power. It will enable you vote credible and good leaders that will move the nation forward.

“If you don’t like government what is your responsibility. What you expected to do is to go get your PVC.

“Look at what happened in Adamawa where a sitting governor lost the party ticket to a female senator and you say votes won’t count. In another state, a serving governor lost Senatorial sit and you say vote won’t count? Who said your votes won’t count , go cast your vote first then let’s see if it will count or not.

“My advice to our people is that they should please go update their PVC to Bimordial Voter Accreditation System Bivas and if you’ve not been registered, please go do your registration.”
