Abia Warriors have announced the signing of four new players ahead of the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Experienced goalkeeper, Femi Thomas linked up with the Promise Keepers from oriental rivals, Heartland.
Thomas was part of Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles side that competed at the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
The 33-year-old once featured for a number of clubs in the NPFL, including Nasarawa United, Ocean Boys, Rivers United, Enyimba and Enugu Rangers.
Iwu Emmanuel, Aniekwe Ugonna and Isah Saidu linked up with the Umuahia club from Kwara United, MFM and Ottasolo FC respectively.
Abia Warriors barely survived relegation in the top-flight last season.
