Music executive Paul Okoye, known as Paulo, has knocked human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju for accusing Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, of oppressing his colleague Speed Darlington.
Saga Gist reports that Speed Darlington was arrested by officers from the Imo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
This marks his second arrest, following an earlier incident on October 4. The artist, also referred to as Akpi, was released on bail on October 9 after spending five days in detention.
In a post on X, Adeyanju claimed that Burna Boy was behind Speed Darlington’s recent arrest by the police.
In response, Paulo took to Instagram on Wednesday to challenge the activist’s assertion, labelling him a social media lawyer for mentioning Burna Boy’s name.
He wrote: “ Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name?
“You are nothing more than a social media lawyer! Lawyer my a** Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client.”
