Ronaldo demands €75million to remain at Real Madrid

Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly demanded €75million (£66m/$88m) a year to commit his future to the club.

Cadena COPE reports that Ronaldo wants an increase of over €30m (£26m/$35m) on his current deal, to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond this summer.

It is also believed the former Manchester United forward wants a six-year deal until 2024 to stay at the Bernabeu, a contract that would take him through to his 39th birthday.

Ronaldo’s future at Madrid is currently up in the air, after he hinted that he could be leaving the club following the Champions League final.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a return to Old Trafford and Paris Saint-Germain.
