Meet Harold Okwa; Entrepreneur and CEO of Vestates


In present generation entrepreneurship, the young intellectuals in their youthfulness are causing disruptions with the use of modern technology and entrepreneurial skills. The entire entrepreneurship landscape is different from what it used to be just a decade and half ago.

Harold Okwa is the CEO of Vestates, Co- founder and managing director of Jetseta, companies he started after he returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom.

His quest to solve problems for his country and the world generally stirred up his entrepreneurial spirit and has guided him along his path to greatness.

Harold founded Vestates in 2013 a property company that provides quality and affordable housing for both short and long term rent, Sales and Property management in the capital city Abuja, Nigeria.

He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Lancashire, England and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree with honours (BSc.(Hons)) in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol, England. He is currently about completing an Executive MBA from the Cass Business School, London.

Harold sits on the board of several companies including Jetseta, Varold Concepts Limited, and 365 Everyday Petroleum Services Limited.

For 5 years he was employed by Oando Marketing PLC where he was instrumental in business development and in expanding the company’s footprint in the capital city Abuja and its environs in the north central part of Nigeria.

The business started when he saw the gap in the real estate sector with many Nigerians finding it hard to get a house. He was motivated to invest in the opportunity the problem presented.

Harold’s quest to solve problems for his country and the world, stimulated by his entrepreneurial drive, has guided him along his path in business.
