The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday arrested Jumoke Ayodele and Opeoluwa Temitayo.
They attempted to smuggle hard drugs to suspects in the custody of the Ibadan zonal office.
Wilson Uwujaren, Head of Media & Publicity, in a statement, said the items, according to an EFCC medical officer, is “colorado”.
He quoted the ladies as admitting that the substance was meant for the consumption of some detainees.
They wrapped them in small cellophane packs and tucked them inside sausages they brought for the detainees.
EFCC feed detainees but allow meals from their visiting relatives.
Uwujaren noted that the suspects to recieve the drug are Itiowe Kelvin, Oluwatobi Damilola and Ayodele David.
They were among those arrested during a recent raid on suspected internet fraudsters in the state.
EFCC added that the ladies will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
