Man United vs AC Milan: Maguire heard attacking teammates during 1-1 draw at Old Trafford

Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire was heard attacking his teammates during their 1-1 draw with AC Milan in the Europa League last sixteen first leg tie on Thursday.

The England international was heard using the F word while addressing his United team-mates in an outburst during the game, according to Express UK.

AC Milan were victims of referee decisions with their two goals ruled out for handball and offside.

Maguire himself missed an open net shortly before his verbal assault on his teammates.

Maguire admitted before the match that he is usually a loud presence on the pitch, telling UEFA that he wants to use his leadership ability to inspire United to fight for silverware on a regular basis.

“It’s a huge privilege; I feel so lucky to be able to lead this club and be captain of this club,” he said.

“It’s a huge honour. I’m doing everything I can to be a successful captain and obviously the main thing is to start lifting trophies and start winning football matches on a continuous, consistent basis.

“I demand a lot. I’m sure you could speak to a lot of players [and they’d tell you that] I’m loud around the place, I’m loud around the dressing room.”

The England defender claimed he enjoys a strong relationship with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has completed a remarkable turnaround in recent months after United’s uninspiring start to the campaign.
