Real Madrid vs Chelsea: Zidane announces squad for Champions League tie in Spain

 

Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has named a 22-man squad to tackle Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final first-leg tie at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium in Spain on Tuesday night.

Zidane announced the squad in a post on Real Madrid’s official website on Monday.

Zidane’s men had eliminated Liverpool from the Champions League quarter-final stages, while Chelsea knocked Porto out of the competition.

Real Madrid head to the game after playing a 0-0 draw with Real Betis in the LaLiga over the weekend, while Chelsea defeated West Ham United 1-0 in the Premier League.

Below is Real Madrid’s squad against Chelsea;

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and Miguel.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Isco, Arribas and Blanco.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo.

The kick-off time for Real Madrid vs Chelsea is 8 pm.
