Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu says President Muhammadu Buhari usually considers youths in his policies and appointments.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum Chairman urged political leaders to include youths in their plans to ensure rapid national development.
Bagudu spoke in Birnin Kebbi on Friday at an event on youth and women inclusion in governance.
The governor stated that youths are the engine room of any nation and must never be forgotten.
“President Buhari is ceaselessly according top priority to the youths in his policies, programmes and appointments”, NAN quoted him as saying.
“We must bring the youths into governance and always be ready to support them when they take risks to enable them to succeed.”
Bagudu commended brilliant and courageous young men and women making valuable contributions locally and internationally.
The governor further thanked them for their contributions to his administration, public service and Kebbi people.
