Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, has explained why Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the squad to face Aston Villa on Saturday.
Ronaldo is the biggest absentee in the United squad for their Premier League clash at Villa Park.
Rangnick claims it is because of a hip problem, which saw the 36-year-old leave training early on Friday.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is out with a hip flexor injury and couldn’t train on Friday,” he told reporters ahead of the game.
Rangnick has opted for Edinson Cavani to lead his attack.
Captain Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford are on the bench.
