Benue Rep, Ottah loses return bid, Ochacho Junior emerges Otukpo/Ohimini candidate


 

The lawmaker representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Francis Ottah Agbo has lost his bid to return to the House of Representatives.

This followed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, State House of Assembly and House of Representatives primary election conducted across the State on Sunday.

According to results released by the party on Monday, Ottah lost the PDP ticket to Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche.

Aida polled 71 votes to beat Ottah, who got 35 votes.

Similarly, Alex Ogbe Enokela, known as Ochacho Junior, a younger brother of billionaire realtor, Mohammed Odeh, emerged PDP candidate to face David Mark’s daughter in Otukpo and Ohimini Federal Constituency race.

The party had also announced 27 aspirants winners of the State House of Assembly primary election.
