Board issues four-day ultimatum to intending pilgrims in Jigawa


Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has given four days ultimatum to the 2020/2021 prospective pilgrims to pay their Hajj fare.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Board`s Public Relations Officer, Murtala Usman Madobi.

He said the directives was for those who deposited part of their Hajj fares but were to pay the outstanding fare.

Murtala explained that the board had given up to the 17th of this month for the intending pilgrims to complete the payment ahead of this year`s Hajj exercise.

The statement said any intending pilgrim who failed to complete the payment within the stipulated time may lose this year’s Hajj.

He urged the intending pilgrims to comply with the deadline.
