Amosun, Abiodun's face-off: ADC guber candidate, Fayoyin asks Ogun people to vote out APC

The Ogun state governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress, Hon Olujobi Ezekiel Fayoyin has expressed readiness to take over from governor Dapo Abiodun, stressing that his party will not allow what happened in 2019 to repeat itself.

Fayoyin made this pledge while reacting to a report credited to former governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun who claimed his successor did not win the last election, but was rigged into power.

The ADC guber candidate charged the people of the state to stand against political impunity and supremacy of the ruling All Progressive Party, (APC )in the state.

Fayoyin noted that it will not be “business as usual “ for the APC, as the people will see to their defeat by voting them out at the poll.

Hon Fayoyin said, ”before the public declaration of Senator Amosun, many of us know that Dapo Abiodun election was rigged the same way the local government election was rigged at different local government. Since they were not prepared for governance, that is why we have multitude of failure of the administration. The only way to get out of this mess, is to vote them out; both Dapo Abiodun and his cronies.”

He however urged the people from ward level to local government and senatorial districts in the state to vote for ADC and all their candidates so as to experience the true dividends of democracy .

Hon Fayoyin emphasised that 2023 general election in Ogun state, will be different calling on the people to vote wisely and protect their vote to prevent rigging has it was done in the last election .
