Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, has sent a message to Arsenal over midfielder Youri Tielemans’ possible transfer.
Rodgers said that Tielemans wants his future resolved quickly after Arsenal’s interest in signing him this summer.
Tielemans, who has entered the final year of his contract with Leicester, has indicated to the Foxes that he wants to leave this summer.
Leicester is open to selling Tielemans, who is on Arsenal’s shortlist, for a fee in the region of £30 million.
But Arsenal has yet to make an approach for the Belgium international.
“There is that possibility, but there has not been anything for him, we haven’t had any approaches to the club yet on that,” Rodgers said as quoted by Metro UK when asked about the prospect of Tielemans leaving Leicester.
“Of course, it is in the back of the mind, that sort of what-if scenario, but he doesn’t want anything to drag on either.”
