Nasarawa United can’t avoid relegation from NPFL — Osanga

Nasarawa United captain, King Osanga has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to maintain their Nigeria Premier Football League status.

The Solid Miners will host fellow relegation strugglers El Kanemi Warriors on Saturday (today) at the New Jos Stadium.

Osanga said that his team can build on their impressive away draw against Enyimba on matchday 11.

The former Nigerian International however called on his teammates not to underrate the visitors despite their run of poor results.

“We (Players) have the ability to maintain our stay in the Premier League,” Osanga said.

“Our last performance against Enyimba showed how determined we are to achieve this feat.

“All we need to do today against El- Kanemi Warriors is to play with caution and not underrate them because of their recent poor results.”

Nasarawa United are on ninth position on the Group B standings.
