Bayelsa United players are expected back in camp on Thursday for the resumption of training activities ahead of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier League season.
The 26 players retained by the club are to report to the camp in Ogboloma in preparation for the new season.
According to a club statement, the early resumption is to enable the team to prepare for a better season having sustained the NPL.
The Restoration Boys will engage in a series of friendlies before the start of the new season.
Bayelsa United managed to escape relegation in the 2022/23 NPL campaign.
The 2023/24 NPL season will start on August 26
