Transfer: You’re not guaranteed trophy at Man United – Sounders advises Kane

Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders has suggested to Tottenham’s Harry Kane that joining Bayern Munich would be a better option for him than moving to Manchester United.

Kane has been subject to two bids from Bayern, with Tottenham rejecting both offers as they are reluctant to part ways with their main man.

With just one year left on his current deal, there is speculation that the north London side could be forced to sell, with United known to be huge admirers.

Saunders, while commenting on the offers on the table for the striker, insisted that a move to Old Trafford may not bring him the silverware he craves.

“Would you sign for Man United before Bayern Munich? I’m not so sure; it’s a dilemma because he’s not guaranteed to win anything at United—not guaranteed,” he told talkSPORT.

“For Man United, if you sign Harry Kane, he’s going to get you 25–30 goals. So will that make the difference from fourth and challenging? They’re obviously going to have a far better chance if they sign him.”
