UCL: ‘It is harder to win Premier League title’ – Guardiola

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said winning the Premier League title is more difficult than the Champions League.

Guardiola’s men play Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.

City are the current trophy holders, as they completed the treble by winning the league and FA Cup.

Ahead of their game in Madrid, Guardiola still has one eye on the English top-flight title race, as he looks to lift a sixth trophy in seven seasons.

Arsenal currently lead the way in the Premier League with 71 points, only ahead of Liverpool on goal difference and one ahead of City

“I always said and people don’t believe me, that I think the Premier League or the domestic league titles are the more difficult ones.

“Because it is 38 fixtures and being there every single day, and especially the contenders we have this season,” Guardiola told TNT Sports
