Pelican Valley CEO, Adeyemo Joins 250,000 – Member Prayer Platform, Leads Abeokuta Unit


A Real Estate entrepreneur, Ambassador (Dr) Babtunde Adeyemo has been appointed patron and leader of the Abeokuta unit of the Al-Huda Al-Mukhtariyah International Prayer Mission, an arm of the Muhammad Rasulullah Islamic Centre (MRIC) Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Reports have it that the group boasts of over 250,000 members cutting across social media platforms where they jointly hold prayer sessions worldwide.

This was announced on Sunday, May 26, by the National Missioner of the group, His Eminence Sheikh Ahmad Ibrahim Bukhari Al-Mukhtar, shortly after the group's inaugural prayer hosted by Adeyemo at The Podium within Pelican Valley Estate Laderin, Abeokuta.

The appointment followed immediately after the creation of Abeokuta platform by Sheikh Mukhtar and Adeyemo will be the leader of the group in the Rock-city.

The event, which is the first of its kind in Abeokuta, was tagged 'Total Breakthrough' with the mantra of the group 'KUN FAYAKUN (Be and it is).

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mukhtar commended Adeyemo on hosting the prayer session, saying it portrayed the Islamic moral in his life style and business by putting God first in all his endeavour and maintaining integrity and honesty in his interactions with people.

The sheik also prayed for upliftment of his business and all the members of the Group in Ogun state, Nigeria and across the globe

Earlier, the clergyman harped on the importance of prayer to man, saying God has used the group to answer prayers of many people in Nigeria and other countries.

According to him, Abeokuta is a special land that should not be ignored when it comes to immediate answering of prayers.

He noted that Pelican Valley Estate, where the Abeokuta inaugural prayer platform was held, could be compared to similar sessions in Texas, United States of America. adding that out of the 36 states in Nigeria where the group had members, Ogun state is the only state to host the prayer twice and the third state to host the prayer in the history of the group.

in his remarks, Adeyemo commended the effort of the National Missioner of the group towards changing the narrative and promoting Islam across the globe.

The real estate entrepreneur and promoter of Oko Opo Foundation, expressed his pleasure to host such gathering in his estate where people pray to God, and how he was always excited to see people of like-minds do things together.
