Pastor Akinsola Urges Youths to Prioritize God Amid Modern Distractions

Youths have been charged to put God at the center of their lives to navigate the pressures of modern society.

Pastor Kayode Akinsola, Young Adults Pastor of Jubilee Christian Church International, House of Glory, gave the charge during a youth gathering at the church auditorium in Isale Abetu, Abeokuta.

Addressing a packed auditorium, Pastor Akinsola warned that the influence of social media, peer pressure, and the pursuit of material success often distract young people from their divine purpose.

“Your greatest asset is not your popularity, your possessions, or your connections, it is your relationship with God. When you focus on Him, every other aspect of your life aligns with His purpose,” he said.

He urged youths to cultivate a consistent prayer life, study the Word diligently, and associate with positive influences that strengthen their faith.

He also encouraged them to embrace integrity, hard work, and service as pillars for a fulfilling life.

The event, marked by moments of reflection, worship, and renewed commitment, drew a large turnout of young attendees.

Many described the message as enlightening and transformative. Church leaders reaffirmed their commitment to mentoring young people and providing programs to help them thrive both spiritually and socially.

The session concluded with prayers for the youths and a renewed call to live purposefully, keeping God at the center of every decision.
