Ogun East Has Chosen The Best Person to Represent Them

Governor Dapo Abiodun has emerged as the candidate to represent Ogun East in the Senate under the APC, following a competitive primary process. The decision has been made at the party level, but the final verdict still belongs to the people on election day.

 

More than 70,000 people chose him as the best person for the job come 2027 because, at the end of the day, choosing the best representative is all that matters. But for the others who couldn’t join in the process, it is a shared belief that choosing Governor Abiodun will always be the best decision for them. And this belief is not based on emotions or sentiments but rather on what people can point to and verify from his record in the past 7 years.

For the People of Ogun East

Seven years under Governor Dapo Abiodun and Ogun State have changed in ways many people never imagined. Yes, people see the big things, like the roads, hospitals, industries, and an airport being commissioned. But looking beyond these visible projects, there are quieter but very impactful changes that have greatly improved life for the ordinary people across the state.

For example, pensioners now have more confidence in the system because pensions under Governor Abiodun are being handled better. Additionally, land ownership in Ogun has become easier and more accessible than it used to be. Also, you see things like thousands of new teachers entering public schools and new digital learning systems making education easier for both students and teachers.

Under Governor Abiodun, the administration has been intentional about pushing both peace and development. And over the past 7 years, that focus has taken Ogun to a whole new level of stability, industrialization, and economic growth.

With him now keen on taking this mantra of excellence to the senate, the goal remains to continue serving, but more specifically, for the people in Ogun East, his senetorial district.

From Shagamu, up to Ikenne, Remo, across all of Ijebuland, and far east to Ogun Waterside, Ogun East needs a stronger and more effective representation in the Senate. The people want a voice that can engage better, attract more attention to the district’s needs, and help build on existing development efforts. With Dapo Abiodun behind the wheel in the Senate, the only focus will be on better representation and steadier growth for the people.
