Transfer: Buchanan joins Chelsea as three players leave Stamford Bridge


 

Chelsea on Friday confirmed that defender Kadeisha Buchanan has joined the club’s Women’s team on a three-year deal from Olympique Lyonnais.

The Blues disclosed this in a statement via its website.

The statement read in part, “Chelsea FC Women are delighted to confirm the signing of Canadian defender Kadeisha Buchanan on a three-year deal ahead of the 2022/23 season.

“The 26-year-old officially joins the Blues from French side Olympique Lyonnais on 1 July until summer 2025.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea also confirmed the exits of Drinkwater, Charly Musonda and Jake Clarke-Salter from the club’s Men team.

The statement read in part, ”We also thank Danny, Charly and Jake for their service and wish them all the best for the future.”
