Yobe North: No regrets defending my mandate in court – Machina

The Yobe North All Progressives Congress, APC senatorial candidate, Hon. Bashir Machina has said he has no regrets defending the mandate given to him by the people of the zone during the party’s primary election.

Machina stated this via his media aide, Husaini Mohammed Isa, while addressing hundreds of supporters in Karasuwa and Yusufari local government areas.

“I consider this a rare privilege to serve people of Yobe North and the greatest appreciation would be to provide quality service and purposeful leadership that would elevate the developmental trajectory of our dear senatorial district”, he said.

He added that he does not harbor grudges against those who ganged up against him, saying he had put behind him all that transpired, thereby urging the supporters to do same.

“I have forgiven those who ganged up against me, what the APC in the State needs now is for all stakeholders to come together for the sake of the Party”, Machina said.

While at the Palace of Emir of Yusufari, the senatorial candidate assured the monarch that he will never disappoint his people regardless of the circumstances.

Recall that Machina had won court cases against the incumbent President of the Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan over the Yobe North Senatorial ticket.
